THE ROLLING HILLS LADIES’ COMMUNITY CLUB – 2025/2026
Our Ladies’ Community Club began in 1939 when local pioneer women met to socialize and support each other. Although the role of the club has changed and evolved over the years, the purpose and aim of our club, to support the social welfare of the Rolling Hills Community, has not. We are happy to say our club still keeps alive the pioneer spirit of helping and volunteering in our community.
Here are some of the many things that the club does within our community:
If anyone has ideas for presentations, guest speakers, craft making projects, etc., for our events, please let us know.
If you are interested in joining the Community Club or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us, as we encourage ALL women to join us in our endeavours, and it is a great way to get out and meet people in our community.

- We welcome newcomers to the community with a welcome package. If you know of anyone who has not received a visit, please let us know.
- We volunteer time to cater for weddings, family reunions, and other functions. We donate and serve food for local auctions, as well as setting up tables and chairs and serving lunch for funerals, then cleaning up.
- We decorate the hall for various functions including our Appreciation Night, Christmas Daze, and the Community Christmas supper.
- We organize the annual Hall Clean-up, as well as the Birthday Party at Sunrise Nursing Home in Brooks.
- We send cards of encouragement and sympathy to people in the community when they are in times of need.
- We support our Rolling Hills School by providing scholarships, and other local groups with fund- raising by providing volunteers or means when needed.
